first of all, let me get the requisite apologies for my absence from these pages out of the way
i've been busy as usual - doing some acting (Ping Pong Playa, The History Boys), some writing (a pilot, a new movie that i can't tell you about), and some directing (Leaving Barstow), which is what prompts this latest missive
LEAVING BARSTOW is having its world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival on Tuesday, April 29th at 8:30pm
it's a beautiful little film, with STAGGERING performances by Michelle Clunie, Steven Culp, Ryan Carnes, Ryan Michelle Bathe, amazing newcomer Marques Ray, and brilliant writer/star Kevin Sheridan
if you appreciate honest, brave, effortless acting, i suspect you will love this movie
i'm still plenty busy, trying to create more work for all of us to do and enjoy
keep your eyes peeled, you never know where i'm gonna pop up
and thank you all for your kind and thoughtful words - don't ever underestimate their importance to me
